AN EXCEPTIONALLY SCARCE Royal Doulton Toothless Granny large size character jug D5521 - designed by Harry Fenton (who gave Royal Doulton some of the best and scarcest jugs and Loving Cup designs). Produced from 1935 and 1941 only (this piece dates from 1938 - refer the base stamp pictures). It is a collectors rarity, and one of the most sought after of the Royal Doulton character jugs - without venturing into the stratosphere of rarity and price.
