Offered for your considerations this attractive character jug Owd Mac with the backstamp also stating Owd Mac. It was produced for a brief period in 1937.

Jug is approximately 6.75 tall. Book price in the Charlton Catalogue of Royal Doulton Jugs 10'th Ed. Jugs had an interesting history in that the first production had Owd on the Tam and the backstamp.

Production then changed to Auld on the Tam and Owd on the backstamp. Finally production went to the final version which had Auld on both the Tam and the backstamp. Photos of the items above are a part of the item description.
