Royal Doulton Character Jug The Guardsman D6755 Colourway

Up for sale is this very nice large character jug depicting The Guardsman. Jug is approximately 8 tall and was produced during the period 1986 to 1999 in the regular edition with the red coat. This particular jug has a white tunic and was not put into production. For some reason as shown in the last photo the jug was marked as a second by drilling out the center of the RD hallmark. In the Charlton catalogue of character jugs 10'th ed.
