ROYAL DOULTON CHARACTER JUG Up for sale I have this wonderful'King Arthur' D7055 character jug by Royal Doulton. This jug was issued in a limited edition of 1,500 and this one is numbered 422 and i also have the numbered certificate.
18cm/7 inches in height and is in very good all round condition with no chips, cracks or damage and only minimal signs of wear. I have added the extra close-up photos to show the points on the top of his crown where the gold coating is not complete or is streaky with lines in the finish. As these are smooth to the touch it is impossible to tell if this is mild wear or how it was made.
It is fully stamped underneath (see photo) and is first quality. I do not have the box.
