A scarce Royal Doulton large character jug Robinson Crusoe D6532 - this is the first variation of this jug with the footprint on the shoulder (this was removed shortly after production commenced due to commercial realities and difficulties assosciated with making it this way). Designed by Max Henk and produced between 1960 and 1982 (there is no date of record for the discontinuation of the footprint on shoulder version).

Guaranteed old and UK made. Approx 19 cms (7 1/2) tall. In excellent condition, guaranteed free from damage and repair - tiny production dent/irregulatiry on base rim that doesnt detract from the display of this scarce jug (very common with large jugs as the bases had a tendency to stick to the kilns).
