Vintage ROYAL DOULTON Mephistopheles DEVIL two-faced character jug 5-3/4 Toby

This is the last Toby Jug of Grand-daddy's to list. Keep in mind we know very little as we are not collectors.

As you eBayer's check out the listing feel free to write and have me add what you think we should include. We have tried to take detailed photographs to show you how lovely this is.

After that they had no more room to put them in the china closet. We believe this is Mephistopheles.

It is, we think a two sided devil. We can remember him saying, Now, which one are you going to be today?

It is very high gloss and perfect. The detailing around the eyes is magnificent. This actually scared all of us. To the point no one argued to have this one as a reminder of Grand-daddy! This is the full size Toby Character Jug a little under 6 inches tall. Non smoking, no pet home. Please look at the bottom photo and see if you can decode when it was made.

Someone told us the A made it older and the R means it was hand signed. It will be fully insured, with tracking numbers. It will be very well packaged as we know the postal service is not reading the FRAGILE labeling on packages. This Toby Character Jug is NOT returnable.
