Large Character TOBY JUG D6599. A Royal Doulton "Ugly Duchess" Large Character Jug - D6599. Made in England at the Royal Doulton Art Pottery Studios. The Registry number is D6599.

This beautiful Hand Painted Jug was made only between 1965 & 1973. It was modelled by M. It took 2 1/2 years for every artist at Doulton to train to paint these handsome Jugs by hand.

This is the Large size and it stands 6.75" tall, 6.25" wide and 4.25 deep. Marked on the bottom with the Royal Doulton mark with the Lion & Crown. The condition of this most colorful piece is in excellent with no chips, cracks nor repairs.
