CHURCHILL LARGE CERAMIC CHARACTER TOBY JUG LIMITED EDITION #524 OF 5,000. Offered is a hand made and hand painted toby jug modeled in 1989 by Peggy Davies, formerly of Royal Doulton. The jug is from the "Spirit of Britain" collection and depicts Winston Churchill with his iconic cigar in one hand and his other on the back of the symbolic strong lion. His book titled "The History of the English Speaking Peoples" is along his side. The handle is formed by the Union Jack flag.

This is a large 9 in. High jug, in like-new condition with no cracks, chips or crazing.

It is #524 of a limited edition of 1,500. Total boxed weight is approximately 3 lb. And box measures 10" x 8" x 12.
