Large Royal Doulton Musical Auld Mac Character Toby Jug

Charming large vintage Royal Doulton musical Auld Mac toby jug with Thornes Swiss movement music box. Originally designed by Harry Fenton, it features a song by Sir Harry, a 20th century singer and comedian.

Beautiful coloration of green tam and brown coat with detailed facial features. Measures approximately 6 1/2 inches tall, 5 1/4 inches deep, and 8 inches spout to handle. Incised on back of tam "Auld Mac Bang Went Sixpence". Inside rim of bottom is marked "The Campbells are Coming" and "Royal Doulton Made in England". Excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dings, etc.
