This listing is for a Vintage and Rare! 1987 Large ROYAL DOULTON PROTOTYPE CHARACTER TOBY JUG - THE JUGGLER, D6835 - created by Stanley James-Taylor, with a different color scheme than the one eventually chosen to be produced. The Shoulders of The Juggler are a partial Dark Blue and a Plum Color instead of the common Blue on one side and Yellow on the other. The trim on the shirt is Mottled Gray instead of Red. The juggling balls are Mottled Gray instead of Red.

The trim on the Skittles is a Dark Green and Yellow instead of Dark Green and Red. The Headband is a matching Dark Green. Backstamp specifically says The Property of Royal Doulton Tableware Ltd. Item stands the normal 6.5 tall and is free of chips and cracks.
