Royal Doulton character Toby jug titled The Mikado. Details about the character jug. Source: Royal Doulton is a prominent English fine porcelain and ceramics maker. Inspiration: The character jug is based on the Gilbert and Sullivan comic operetta of the same name.

Designer: It was designed by Max Henk. Production: The large version (D6501) was issued between 1959 and 1971. A different version, D6507, was produced in 1958. The jugs are handcrafted and hand-painted. This is a beautiful condition with no cracks chips or Crazing.
