Rare Royal Doulton Stoneware Lord Nelson Loving Cup / Tankard Maud Bowden. Royal Doulton Stoneware Lord Nelson 1905 Trafalgar Centenary Loving Cup Issued by Royal Doulton on the centenary of the battle of Trafalgar, the two handled cup is beautifully moulded with raised tube-lined details. It is coloured navy blue with mottled green and brown glazes.

There are 2 medallion shaped patterns on either side of the cup, surrounded by a rope decoration. One side of the cup says.. Lord Nelson, Born-1758, Died-1805 Whilst the other reads.. "England expects every man will do his duty".
