Up for sale is this very nice largel character jug depicting Desperate Dan a character from the British comic books "Dandy" or perhaps "Beano". It is one of the four that were done in the Characters from the Beano and the Dandy series and was made in the large and small size.

The jug has backstamp "B" as shown in the fifth photograph in the listing. This makes this jug a un-numbered limited edition in the sense that this back stamp was only applied during the year 1998 to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the comic book series. This back stamp is not common in the U.

I have other jugs from this series currently listed so be sure to check out my other listings! The jug is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. It stands 4 tall and was issued from only 1995 to 1999 in all variations. Photos of the item above are a part of the item description.
