Royal Doulton Charles Dickens D6939, Ltd Ed 389/2500, old inventory, new in box, never displayed, complete with Certificate of Authenticity. The 125th anniversary of the death of Charles Dickens was commemorated in 1995 with this unique 2 handled character jug designed by William K.

Part of the Charles Dickens Characters Series and issued in a limited edition of 2500 pieces, this is number 389. The handles feature six Dickens characters: Oliver Twist, Sairey Gamp, Ebenezer Scrooge, Little Nell, Mr. The base features a special Royal Doulton mark with open book, quill and inkwell, designers signature, singed inspection sticker and artist monogram and individual piece number. This impressive piece was taken from inventory storage in the unopened, original box as received from Royal Doulton (see photos).

This low number piece is in excellent, new condition with no damage and is complete with numbered Certificate of Authenticity. Please review the photos and appreciate the fine, precise painting detail, color / complexion is excellent. Note: this piece was difficult to photograph, any white spots are lighting glare or reflections.
