John Barleycorn is one of Doulton's most iconic tavern characters, and this later exhibition issue captures the traditional sculpt with excellent depth, glaze quality, and finish. Date: Original design 1939 (Harry Fenton); this Special Exhibition Reproduction produced circa late 1970s-early 1980s. 7" H × 6½" W × 5½ D. Very Good to Excellent vintage condition.
