Vintage Royal Doulton The Beatles Character Jugs Complete Set of 5 - Excellent Condition. Up for sale is an extraordinary collection of vintage Royal Doulton porcelain, featuring the complete set of The Beatles Character Jugs. These five remarkable jugs were crafted by Royal Doulton designer Stanley Taylor, paying tribute to the legendary Fab Four who forever changed the world of music. Height: Approximately 5.5 inches (14.0 cm). Condition: Excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, or restoration.

Despite being nearly 40 years old, these jugs look as if they were just made. This unique collection includes five beautifully detailed character jugs, each depicting one of the iconic members of The Beatles. 1 - D6725: This jug showcases John Lennon, the legendary guitarist and songwriter, issued during the original production run.

2 - D6797: A special edition jug, this variation was commissioned in 1987 and limited to only 1000 pieces. This particular jug is numbered 123 and features a distinctive dark blue handle. George Harrison (D6727): Celebrating the life and music of the beloved guitarist and songwriter, this jug honors Harrison's enduring legacy. Ringo Starr (D6726): Capturing the essence of The Beatles' drummer, this jug pays tribute to Ringo Starr's influence on both music and film.

Handles are plain black, except for the Lennon Var. 2 with a blue handle. These jugs are in excellent vintage condition, meticulously preserved over the decades. My grandfather was so cautious with his collection, he put felt pads on the bottoms of all his displayed jugs. If you choose to take the felt off, they come off very easy and clean great with a gentle citrus based adhesive remover.
