There are no chips, cracks nor repairs. It is a whimsical representation of the Red Queens croquet partner, the Ugly Duchess from Alice IN Wonderland.

The Handle is a Flamingo representing what the Queen & Duchess used as Croquet Mallets. It was designed by Max Henk. It was only in production from 1965 to 1973.

It has the Royal Doulton Lion & Crown Mark on the bottom & D6599 & British Registry Marks. It also has the date 1965, 56 years ago. Beautifully Hand Painted & Finished.
