A museum-quality example for the serious collector. This is the rare Limited Edition of only 750 produced exclusively for the First Canadian Doulton Show held in Durham, Ontario, in July 1988. It was modeled by the renowned Stanley James Taylor. This jug differs from standard issues due to its specific commemorative backstamp indicating the Canadian event and edition size. It features incredible detailing, including a handle cleverly modeled as a sailboat mast and sail, while the character wears a classic captain's cap with nautical insignia.
