Royal Doulton Character Jug / Decanter. Grant's 25 Year Old Very Rare Scotch Whiskey. Specially filled in 1987 (empty now) , Celebrating the 100 years since the first whisky flowed from the stills of William Grant's Highland Distillery. 100 years of Achievement 1887 - 1987. With Sampson's Woven Badge of Scotland. William Grant Founder of William Grant & Sons Ltd. An Independent family company for five generations. Specially Commissioned from Royal Doulton, a character jug celebrating the 100 years since the first whisky flowed from the stills of William Grant's Highland Distillery. Only 500 jugs were filled in 1987. There is no alcohol in this jug now, that disappeared a long time ago. This is a rare complete vintage character jug / decanter set. The box is in excellent condition. The jug / decanter is in near mint condition with no cracks or chips.

The colors are bright and the finish shines. There is only a very faint, barely visible small scratch (maybe an inch, on the kilt hat, just above the right eye), hard to see without a bright light and a very close inspection (see pictures). Not readily visible when viewing it in a normal display.

This comes with the signed Certificate of Authenticity. The character jug / decanter also comes with the original cork hat and spout. Included in the package is the Scotland Lion woven badge made by Sampson's.

Package will be well packed and insured. All descriptions of cosmetic conditions are represented by normal visual inspection.
